The history of Be Green Save Green
Be Green Save Green has found that most people want to go green, but belive it's expensive and a burden, but BGSG proves otherwise day after day.
Be Green Save Green was founded by J.A. Smith, the owner of A.M. Green Publishing House (an envionmentally friendly publisher) in March of 2007 as a consulting company. The website was founded later that month to post ideas that could simplify the life of going green. In the fall of 2007 Be Green Save Green decided to add some debt help to readers. Many of the ideas weren't completely green (although they were not harmful to the environment) but it ended up attracting new people that were very interested in Be Green Save Green for the purpose of saving money. Be Green Save Green found it's true popularity when it began to focus primarily on saving money while going green.
Many companies that sell green items try to convince consumers that going green is a large investment. Although be Green Save Green agrees some things are a large investment, the average person just can't make that step right now. Unfortunately, that idea of investing turns a lot of people away from going green, and that is where Be Green Save Green tries to help. It works by helping the average person go green without spending any extra money... and often times completely saving money where it was once spent before. Of course there are even those occasions where Be Green Save Green readers could actually make some extra money as well.
Be Green Save Green continues to grow. The website added new opportunities to it's visitors such as forums for idea postings, a place to post items for barter, a place to sign a guest book, web polls, a monthly newsletter and an opportunity for readers to become article writers.
In May of 2008 Be Green Save Green became a Yahoo! group where members can communiate back and forth about ideas, questions and debate issues. Soon after a Myspace Be Green Save Green group was added.
Be Green Save Green's future looks very green indeed. The popularity of Be Green Save Green is growing as Be Green Save Green continues to add new content weekly and continues to be free for all users. In the future Be Green Save Green is considering adding a small web store where it can offer environmentally friendly everyday products below competator prices. Be Green Save Green is also looking to add a comment form at the end of each article for readers.
Be Green Save Green would like to thank all of you that made Be Green Save Green a success.
